About Jacqui Roberts

Jacqui has been creating beautiful art pieces since 1983. After studying life drawing and portraits in NCAD Dublin, she spent a year in Munich, Germany doing street art.

During the 90’s, Jacqui opened up ‘The Cotton Patch’ playschool in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, where she dedicated each summer to teaching art in ‘The Cotton Patch Art & Craft School’. During the school terms, she also taught art freelance in primary schools in Ashbourne and Castleknock.

After moving to Laytown, Co. Meath in 2000, Jacqui was part the ‘Indigo Art’ group and spent many years creating pastel portraits and life drawings. After a well-deserved break, Jacqui is back creating stunning abstract paintings on canvas, mixing acrylics, inks, glass and enamel paints to create her own unique blend, which many have compared to Jackson Pollock. Exhibiting at ‘The Peoples Art’ in St. Stephens Green and on Bettystown Beach, Jacqui’s pieces are now being admired and enjoyed in homes all across Ireland, as well as in London, Amsterdam, Paris, Germany, New York and Texas.
